👉🏼Yesterday, November 25, 2025, students from across seven European countries gathered online for an eTwinning webinar titled “AI in Schools – A Silent Debate on the Future of Learning,” organized by Srednja škola Ban Josip Jelačić in Croatia as part of the KA220 «SmartEd» Erasmus+ project, where Educom+ is proud to participate.
👉🏼This “silent debate” format invited students to critically explore multiple perspectives on artificial intelligence—from its potential to enhance learning and show us the world with enriched information, to concerns about data privacy and digital addiction. Student webinars like this are invaluable because they position young learners as active participants in shaping their own educational futures rather than passive recipients of technological change.
👌They develop critical thinking skills, build authentic European connections, amplify student voice in crucial conversations and foster the digital citizenship and metacognitive abilities that will serve students throughout their lives.
As we navigate this transformative moment in education, ensuring that students themselves have space to question, explore and contribute their perspectives on AI integration isn’t just good pedagogy—it’s essential democracy in action.
